Captains will…
The reward for this job is to represent the team in the middle of the mat for the pre-match coin toss at dual meets.
Team captains must assist and assume reasonable duties during workouts and competitions as well as meet regularly with Head Coach.
Captains will…
- be selected after Week 2 of the season.
- run warm-ups (beginning)
- run conditioning (end)
- push the pace during practice
- be positive role-models
- keep order and decency in the program
- enforce team etiquette
- motivate and lead the team during warm-ups before tournaments
- make sure everyone on the team arrives on time and is clean shaven
- Organize mat set up and clean up at Home events
